Rates & Billing

Transparent pricing for specialized care

Therapy with the right specialist is an investment in your child's — or your own — wellbeing. My rates reflect specialized training and a deliberately focused practice: I keep my caseload small so that every client gets care that is unhurried, individualized, and deep. Private pay also means your care is directed by your needs, not insurance requirements — no diagnosis required for treatment, no session limits, and no diagnostic codes sent to insurers without your say.

Therapy

Individual therapy — $300 per 50-minute session. For children, teens, young adults, and adults.

Parent & family sessions — $300 per 50-minute session. Parent guidance sessions and family sessions, with or without your child present.

Reduced-fee slots: I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee openings for clients who would not otherwise be able to access care. If cost is a barrier, please mention it when you reach out — I'll do my best to accommodate when possible.

Autism & ADHD Assessment for Adults

A comprehensive psychological assessment for adults exploring autism, ADHD, or both — designed for late-identified and questioning adults who want clarity, not just a checklist. Built to account for masking, AFAB presentations, trauma, and gender experience.

‍ ‍

Comprehensive Adult Autism & ADHD Evaluation — $3,500

Your evaluation includes:

  • Initial telehealth intake

  • In-person testing session in Southington, CT

  • Follow-up telehealth interview

  • Validated measures, records review, and (optional) collateral input

  • Scoring and interpretation of all measures

  • A comprehensive written report you can use with providers, employers, and disability services

  • A dedicated feedback session to walk through the findings together

‍ ‍

Full payment is due prior to Session 2. Superbills are available for potential out-of-network reimbursement, though insurance coverage for psychological assessment varies and is not guaranteed. A learning disorder diagnostic add-on (reading, written expression, mathematics) is available on request.

Gender-Affirming Surgery Letters

Behavioral health letters of support for gender-affirming surgical procedures, billed at the standard session rate of $300.

‍ ‍

  • Streamlined Surgical Letter (adults) — typically 1–2 sessions, for those who have already worked through their surgical decisions

  • Comprehensive Surgical Support and Letter (adults and youth) — 2 or more sessions, with room to talk through decisions, self-advocacy, and planning; for youth this includes a session with a legal guardian and consultation with your care team

‍ ‍

I'll tell you within one session whether I'm able to write your letter — and if I can't, I refund that session fee. This service is currently available to clients located in Connecticut and New York. Learn more about the letter process →

For Professionals

Clinical consultation — $150 per 30-minute session, with discounts available. Case consultation for therapists working with transgender, gender-diverse, and neurodivergent children, teens, and young adults. Single sessions or ongoing. I keep this rate accessible on purpose — I'd rather you feel confident serving this community than priced out of asking.

Insurance & Superbills

I'm an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. Upon request, I provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) for you to submit to your insurer — many plans include out-of-network mental health benefits that reimburse a portion of each session.

‍ ‍

To find out what your plan covers, call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask: "Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits? What's my deductible, and what percentage is reimbursed?" My colleague addyson tucker has also created a helpful Out of Network Benefits Guide.

‍ ‍

If you're not using insurance, you're entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs under the No Surprises Act. I provide this in writing before we begin, and at any time on request.

Payment & Cancellation

Payment is due at the time of session via my secure client portal. Credit, debit, and HSA/FSA cards are accepted.

Your session time is reserved for you. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule; late cancellations and missed sessions are billed at the full session rate. Exceptions may be made for illness or emergencies.
